NYE prep!
just made a music mix for NYE party, it’s 96 songs long and i am dancing in the middle of my living room right now.  Here’s a sneak peak at the first 25 songs.

guitars up!
Another small thing i’ve been wanting to take care of, getting my guitalele and uke off the ground! Picked up these wall hangers from Guitar Center today. After spending some time to find my drill… ta-da!

greeen magazine files
We get a lot of magazines and was tired of looking at them in stacks… I got a pair of untreated wood magazine files (also ikea) for $9.99 The paint i chose was green, it kind of looks like matcha green tea! (also ikea $5.99) letting it dry, i was happy with the color after one coat. I was thinking about painting green stripes, or only painting the green on certain panels, but...

succulents and cacti
Made a trip to Ikea today and picked up these little guys: I arranged the succulents and cacti into nicer white pots.  I pricked my fingers like crazy with the cactus, ended up just throwing them in there to minimize contact. The pots don’t have a drain hole which is important so i  put some rocks at the bottom to create some drainage. Mini arrangement: Mini & Large arrangement...

Christmas 2010
Just got back from a busy few days up in Sunnyvale, celebrating Christmas with the family.  Regrettably, I left my nikon at home and was not too snappy with the iphone, thus this is a rundown of my holiday, list style. A Farewell to Arms
       A Farewell to Arms doesn’t get going til the end - but i won’t spoil that for you.  The main character “Tenente Henry” is serving in the Italian army as an ambulance driver during WWI.  The character is pretty autobiographical since Hemingway was also in Milan during WWI as an ambulance driver.
