Thanksgiving prep
One more day of work before my Thanksgiving weekend can start. At least we end at 3:00PM… at which point I will go to Costco to pick up some last minute stuff. Tomorrow night I’ll bake some fudge brownies, at the request of my preggie sister, and if Costco hasn’t sapped all of the “daring” out of me I’ll bake chocolate chip banana bread too.
In usual fashion, I’ve made a Christmas mix to listen to while cooking. A new mix is made each year and this one is aptly named “Lan’s Ultimate Christmas mix”. If burned it would be a 2 disc set! The songs are hand picked from my Christmas albums - classic/ traditional, modern pop, instrumental, mellow, rap-ish, N’Sync, and chipmunk. I sequence the songs by tempo in uppy and mellow intervals, being careful not to put 2 covers of the same christmas carol after one another.
Aside from my OCD tendencies, I recently received gift wrap that i ordered from a coworker’s kid. I just need a present to wrap.
Google even looks delicious…
Looking forward to spending the day cooking, baking, eating, and watching sports.
